Translatied from the English into the Dutch by Vomelius. Ainsworth was in England member of the Brownis sect, later called congregationalists. He went into exile to Amsterdam and became minister of the english church. He studied Hebrew in England and continued his studies with Dutch Rabbis in Amsterdam.
